75 Hard Program Rules & 3 tips to keep you accountable

If you’re a personal development junkie, you’ve probably heard of the 75 Hard challenge by Andy Frisella. This challenge is designed as a program to help you learn the skill of mental toughness…and boy does it deliver!

Let’s start with the challenge rules:

  1. Two (45 minute workouts) one of them must be outdoors
  2. Progress picture
  3. 10 pages of reading
  4. Drink 1 gallon of water
  5. Follow a diet
  6. No cheat meals or alcohol

Each one of these tasks must be completed each day consecutively for 75 days

If you miss one single task, you must start over the challenge from day one

Now let’s get you into the tips that are going to help you WIN:

  1. Decide to NOT cheat yourself – One of the best things you will get out of the 75 Hard challenge is CONFIDENCE in your personal integrity
  2. Time Management – Set a goal to have x amount of water drank by noon, get your outdoor workout done early (there are so many circumstances that could prevent you from getting outdoors by the end of your day, so try to get that one ticked off your list early)
  3. “Eat the frog” as Mark Twain says – Get the hardest things done first

If you’re thinking about taking on the 75 Hard challenge, I highly recommend downloading the guide created by the Double Dot Theory. It has direct links to all of the challenge-related podcasts and it’s so nice to have a resource to refer to throughout the challenge.
